Season of Handiwork

Our hands have been busy lately, but with more babies arriving, it is a good busy!
Speedy and Sunshine both embroidred a leaf onto a very small diaper shirt.

 I added some embelishment onto the sleeves, and added ruffles in the rear!  (x2!!!)

And grandma's friend game her some material for me to make Seedling a dress ... love the material ...

And what it is turning into...

very sweet, even though I'm not a huge fan of pink.



We made a choice today ... the sun hid behind the clouds today, but D was not going to be for dreary day!

Ideal Weather

Today is warm and sunny.  So far, my children have not asked to venture outside.
As I look through my photos to prepare a Father's Day gift, I am left to ponder what the term "ideal weather" means to my family.

Don't get me wrong, we LOVE the warm and sunny weather.

 Those beautiful days just don't seem to stir up the excitement that a rainy day does!

 

Summer is here, our official "schooling" is winding down, and we are ready for whatever weather is in store!
